I design each piece of jewelry with special attention to detail and craftsmanship developed by years of dedication and perseverance as a jewelry artisan.
My designs are a reflection of my personality and love of the medium I work with. The uniqueness of my designs represents a creative effort that encompasses a high standard of quality coupled with an appreciation for artistic innovation.
Set apart from the ordinary, each piece contains gemstones and diamonds hand selected for their exceptional brilliance and color. It is my desire that each of these unique treasures bring an expression of richness and beauty to enhance each day.

Quality

Every piece of jewelry in this shop is designed and assembled by master jeweler Charles Babb.

Charles Babb Designs is committed to quality both in workmanship and the diamonds and gemstones used in our jewelry. Designs are first created in a CAD program which allows them to be digitally rendered before they are ever a physical reality. The next step is 3-D printing of a wax model that is used in a lost-wax casting process. All gold is karat-stamped and meets industry standards for alloy versus gold content.

Diamonds and gemstones are hand-selected for quality and brilliance. We use SI diamonds which are eye-clean and a minimum of G in color for maximum brightness and fire. You never have to worry about unethically-sourced diamonds when shopping with Charles Babb Designs. In accordance with the Kimberley Process, all of our stones come from legitimate markets and trusted buyers.

The gemstones we use are chosen for color saturation and how well they exemplify the desirable qualities of their type. Please note that due to the differences in color display on individual monitors, colored diamonds and gemstones may vary between the image on your screen and the physical jewelry. All of our images are computer-generated renderings made using our CAD software and thus may not depict natural characteristics inherent in some stones.

We know that you are going to absolutely love your new jewelry! That’s why we are willing to personally pledge to make you a satisfied customer. Within 30 days of receiving your purchase, you can return for an exchange or full refund for any reason!

If your ring does not fit, we also offer one free resizing within 30 days.

If you are interested in a color of gold or different gemstone not pictured, please contact us and let us customize your jewelry!

Custom designs, engraved items, rings that have been sized, and special orders (for unusual sizes or changes to the original design) are not eligible for return.

To Return for Exchange, Refund, Resizing, or Warranty Repair

Contact us so we can send you a shipping label. Pack your jewelry in the original box along with all appraisal documents and any certificate(s). Place all of this in a medium FedEx box with the shipping label affixed to the outside. Nothing on the outside of the box should mention jewelry, diamonds, or gemstones for secure shipping.

When we receive the package, we will verify that the returned item is in its original unaltered condition in order to exchange or refund.

Sizing and Maintenance

All rings are made-to-order and will be created in the size requested so that they will be seamless. We are able to do this in any size from 5 to 9. Larger sizes are available upon request and at an additional cost for the gold required. Smaller sizes may also be possible upon request. Please have your finger sized at a local jeweler to ensure you get the right size, keeping in mind that wider bands may necessitate a larger ring size to fit comfortably.

For an incorrect size, we will resize and ship back once.

For other repairs due to manufacturing defect, we will repair and ship back for free within one year of purchase.

You can also ship any jewelry to us at your expense (we’ll cover return shipping) for free inspection and cleaning including any prong-tightening and polishing as necessary.

Shipping

We will ship via FedEx Express with tracking and insurance. All packages will take up to 3 days in transit and will require a signature for delivery. Made-to-order pieces will require up to 3 weeks to manufacture before shipping. Shipping is FREE in the US. We do not normally ship outside the USA due to high prices for insured shipping. Please request a shipping quote if you still wish to order and are not in the United States.

We would love to giftwrap your jewelry before packing upon request at no additional charge. Each item will be in a designer box appropriate to its type: ring, earrings, pendant, and so on.

Insurance Appraisal

Your artisan-crafted jewelry comes with an appraisal for insurance purposes. This will provide proof of the value of your jewelry at or near the listed retail price. Keep the original document and supply a copy to your insurance provider to so that you will be covered for the replacement cost of your new jewelry.
